I’m thankful for weddings — on day, one event in a relationship that with hard work and good fortune will last for tens of thousands of days. The Wedding Day is a day when we’re at our best. We are fully who we are, we’ve taken our best qualities and polished and presented them. Whatever else we may be, we are also and especially this: hopeful, in love, committed, faithful. Willing to do whatever it takes to make a life together, to show one another that love is real, and share that with our community.
